Why Partners for Healing
is Important to Area Communities

Business and Industry
  • Accessible health care reduces absenteeism.
  • Cost effective to retain a healthy workforce.
  • A healthy workforce is a productive workforce.
  • PFH will provide health education for uninsured family members as well as information about the health care system.
Hospitals
  • Reduce primary care visits by the uninsured to emergency rooms.
  • Reduce hospital operating costs that may be passed on to local health care consumers.
  • Free up the ER for true emergency visits.
Physicians
  • Local physicians and hospitals have been caring for our uninsured citizens. Now there is a new partner with which to share the unmet medical needs of the uninsured.
  • Physicians currently serve the uninsured in their offices resulting in a heavier patient work load that requires them to limit new patient openings.
  • PFH will allow physicians to open their practices to more new patients.
