Partners clinic receives grant.

Partners for Healing Inc. has received a grant from AseraCare Hospice for $1000 through its Community Service Initiative (CSI) Program.

AserCare provides care to families and patients with life limiting illnesses. The CSI Program extends that care into the community. The grant will help to provide uninsured working families who reside or work in Coffee, Franklin, or Moore counties with free medical care.

Partners for Healing was established in 2001 and provides free primary healthcare services to the working uninsured and their families who reside or work in Coffee, Franklin, or Moore counties.

The clinic treats patients with both acute and chronic conditions. In the past 12-month period, Partners had more than 3,500 patient cases.

In addition to clinical services, patients are also provided medication assistance through pharmaceutical patient assistance programs, which provide free medications to eligible low-income patients.
